How do I know what size I need for my chimney?

You'll need to measure the width and length of the chimney's masonry housing. Give us exact measurements — we already build in a 3 mm clearance. If two opposite sides differ in size, always give us the larger one.

Installation is straightforward and needs no special tools. Every cap includes 6 x 50 mm hex-head screws and nylon wall plugs.

Maintenance is minimal: an annual inspection and a clean with water and neutral soap is enough.

Do you manufacture irregular or special-size caps?

Yes. If you send us a dimensioned sketch with measurements and angles, we can manufacture irregular and special caps. We can also manufacture non-standard heights. Contact our technical department for a quote.

Standard stock products ship within 24–48 business hours, while made-to-measure orders or special finishes have a manufacturing lead time of 5 to 10 business days. We can ship directly to site anywhere in Spain.

Why does my chimney cap lose draft in strong wind?

This happens when the cap's geometry isn't designed to convert wind pressure into suction. Wind striking the outlet directly creates turbulence and can reverse the flow. VENTUM®'s design solves this with a geometry that creates a low-pressure zone at the flue outlet regardless of wind direction, improving draft even in strong crosswinds.

Yes. These terms are used interchangeably: chimney cap, cowl, or terminal are just different names for the same element — the metal fitting that crowns the outlet of a chimney or ventilation duct. Every VENTUM® cap is made to measure in powder-coated aluminum or stainless steel, with an aerodynamic geometry that improves draft.
